The Student & Young Professional Activities Committee is a standing committee of the IEEE Computer Society Member and Geographic Activities Board and was created to promote membership activities to specifically address the needs of students and early career members.  Its primary objectives are to:

  • Design initiatives and projects specifically designed to address the needs of students and / or early career professionals.
  • Design and recommend membership activities to address the needs of students and / or early career professionals for potential adoption at the chapter, section, regional, and international levels.
  • Represents the views of students and early career professionals to the IEEE Computer Society Board and its standing committees as well as the IEEE Students and Young Professionals Affinity Groups.
